That means the show regained total audience from AEW Dynamite falls to 654,000 viewers for April 8 episode, even though its key demo number slipped week over week.
Ratings breakdown for the April 15 show
The April 15 broadcast was also simulcast on HBO Max, but streaming viewership figures were not made available.
On AEW's YouTube side, the most-watched clips from the night were led by Darby Allin's AEW World Championship win over MJF, followed by Sting's appearance before the title match and Bryan Danielson receiving confirmation that the main event was happening.
What the April 15 number means for AEW
AEW gets a useful win out of the April 15 number because the total audience moved back above 700,000 on a night built around a major world title change. With Darby Allin's championship victory driving the biggest YouTube interest from the episode, the company at least has a clear sign of what connected most with viewers coming out of the show.
At the same time, the lower 18-49 rating keeps the picture from being a clean across-the-board bounce. AEW can point to audience growth, but the split between total viewers and the demo means the next few Dynamite numbers will matter more in judging whether this was the start of a broader climb or a one-week bump.
