Summary

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, appearing as The Good Brothers, inducted AJ Styles into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame during the final induction of the night.

The longtime teammates and friends reflected on their history with Styles, pointing to the road that took him from TNA to Bullet Club and eventually to WWE. They also spoke about the impact Styles had on a generation of wrestlers before bringing him to the stage with a Too Sweet gesture.

The Hall of Fame moment came after a busy week for Styles, who had also discussed the ceremony's format in recent comments about the event.

Quote from AJ Styles

In his speech, Styles made it clear he does not see this Hall of Fame moment as the end of his connection to WWE.

"So, I guess at the end of the day, I don't really have to be away from wrestling.

I don't have to be 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles anymore, but the job that I'm getting within WWE, the opportunity I have here to stay with this company and be a part of this family, my job is to find the next Phenomenal One.

I may set a record here tonight, just so you know, I don't understand it, but I'd like to think that my faith and what I believe in had me at the right time, in the right place, with the right person watching.

I am so blessed to have what I have and to have done what I've done. It was divine intervention.

I'm saved by grace, by the grace of God and my Savior, Jesus Christ that I was able to do something like this and stand in front of you, I'm so thankful for that.

When I look in the mirror, I see this guy, and I know guys like me were never supposed to make it to places like this.

But here I am. And because of you, I did.

So I am humbled and honored to be a member of the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame!

I love you, and thank you very much."

What AJ Styles' WWE future now looks like

Styles directly said WWE has given him an opportunity to remain with the company and help find "the next Phenomenal One," which signals that his Hall of Fame induction is tied to an ongoing role rather than a clean break from the promotion.

For WWE, that keeps one of the defining stars of the last decade attached to the company even after this career milestone. It also gives Styles a clear place in the promotion's future, whether that work happens on screen, behind the scenes, or both.
