Summary
Ash By Elegance said she is still dealing with an unresolved health issue and has not yet received a firm diagnosis.
During a recent podcast appearance, she said the situation included multiple ICU stays that she had not previously made public. She also said the issue played a role in the retirement scare she referenced before returning to the ring.
With more testing scheduled shortly before Rebellion, Ash said she hopes to finally get a clear answer and eventually share her experience in a way that could help other people facing similar problems.
Ash By Elegance details the road back to wrestling
Ash By Elegance said doctors once told her she could not wrestle anymore, which made the situation especially difficult because wrestling and training had long been central parts of her life.
She said she worked her way back step by step until doctors felt she was medically cleared, although she added that her body can still feel unpredictable at times.
That leaves a real point to watch ahead of Rebellion, because Ash By Elegance is saying she is able to wrestle while also admitting the underlying issue has not been fully identified yet.
Quote from Ash By Elegance
"I'm still going through it, which is crazy. You don't have to have, like, an injury, what I'm going through is a health issue. And, you know, a lot of people, especially in my situation, I don't look sick. I feel, you know, good today, but tomorrow might not. So, it's definitely a health issue.
Everything that I'm going through, I had mentioned once. I don't have a solid diagnosis yet, my issue is weird. They call it, like, a medical mystery. I've done so many things. I spent numerous days in the ICU that nobody really knows about, because I haven't put that out there yet until I honestly can find out what this is. We're towards, like, a good track now. It was scary.
In the beginning, what had happened that kind of forced me into retirement has trickled into this, and it's kind of all adding up to being this one diagnosis. I'm just not going to say it yet until it's really out there. But I fought and clawed my way back because if I have a vision, in my entire life, ever, since I was a little girl, if I have a vision, like, okay, on this date I can do this or have this gymnastics tournament, or on August 29th I have a fitness competition, I'm going to get to it. If I have a vision and mindset and I have a goal, I'm going to do it."
Ash By Elegance later said:
"So when they were like, 'You can't wrestle anymore,' I'm like, 'What do I have to live for?' You know, this is my life. You're telling me I can't do something that keeps me motivated. And then, you know, I was not working out, and working out's my life, too. Then I was like, I got to do this. And the doctors were like, slowly, like, okay, well… it's like a check-mark thing, you know? Okay, so this is good. This is good. This is good. All right. We think you're medically good. So, I was good. I kind of came back. And I'm good to wrestle.
It's just, sometimes, it's difficult, because my body kind of goes a little wonky. And next Wednesday, actually a couple days before Rebellion, I have a couple more tests. Knock on wood, everything is going to be fine. Then we'll have a solid answer of what it is. And I can, because what I'm going through, I know so many people are as well. So I can share and really relate to people, and not everyone has the platform that I do. So I'm very passionate about helping other people. Once I get everything tied up with a nice little pretty bow, this is what it is, then I'm going to be very comfortable sharing what's going on and hopefully help somebody who can help another person along the way."
Rebellion puts Ash By Elegance's health update in sharper focus
Ash By Elegance tying more medical tests to the days before Rebellion gives this update immediate relevance for TNA fans, because it places her current health uncertainty right next to an active point on the calendar.
It also frames her eventual diagnosis reveal as more than a personal update, since she explicitly said she wants to use her platform to speak to others dealing with similar health issues once she has confirmed answers.
