Summary

Aubrey Edwards said Jon Moxley has been present for every AEW show in 2025, including nights when he was not booked to appear on camera.

While speaking on the Bryan and Vinny Show, Edwards described Moxley as the kind of veteran who is constantly around the locker room and still offering feedback after matches. That fits with the reputation he has built in AEW as one of the promotion's central voices backstage.

Edwards recently also spoke about how Chris Jericho's AEW return was kept secret until minutes before Dynamite, another example of how much insight she can offer into the way AEW operates behind the curtain.

Quote from Aubrey Edwards

"Jon Moxley went to every single show in 2025. Even the ones he was not on, he was in the building for every single show. If you would have asked him to (wrestle on those shows), he would have."

Edwards later went on to say:

"It's almost a cliché to say locker room leader but, Jon Moxley is that guy. Hands down. There are times I come back to Gorilla (Position) after a match that I assumed he was not watching and he's there with feedback for everyone, and it's just so cool to see and it's really cool to have that guy as a part of our roster."

What Moxley's presence means for AEW

Moxley's full-time presence gives AEW more than just another top name on the card, it gives younger talent direct access to one of the company's most established voices on show days. Edwards' comments suggest that his role in 2025 has extended well beyond his own matches.

That matters with Moxley also scheduled to face Nick Wayne in a Continental Championship Eliminator match on the Spring BreakThru edition of Collision on April 16. Whether he is wrestling or not, AEW is clearly leaning on him as both a featured performer and a steady backstage figure.
