Summary
Malakai Black's possible path back to AEW may not be an easy one.
After Black was included in multiple WWE departures confirmed after WrestleMania 42, Dave Meltzer said he had heard a notably negative reaction inside AEW to the idea of bringing him back. Meltzer said the feedback he received on Black was harsher than the mixed opinions he had heard about Andrade.
Quote from Dave Meltzer
"From what I have heard, the idea of Aleister Black and AEW was not fondly thought out by the people I spoke with there. Now, I did not speak to Tony Khan."
Meltzer later went on to say:
"Andrade was mixed. I know people there that were not high on Andrade at all and others who were. Black, from what I gathered, pretty negative. There were even people who publicly said that. That they were negative on Black."

What this could mean for Malakai Black and AEW
If the internal mood around Black is really this cold, any AEW return would likely need strong support from Tony Khan to gain traction. It also suggests that a House of Black reunion is far from a certainty, even with Black again available after his WWE departure.
