Summary

Billie Starkz said ROH’s move to studio tapings at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville has been a positive shift for the brand.

Over the past month, ROH moved away from taping around AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision and began running dedicated studio sessions. Starkz said the ROH-focused format has helped talent get more time and attention.

ROH held its first studio tapings on March 1 and a second set on March 22. Starkz said the differences between the two sets were noticeable, with the second taping showing more character and distinction.

Billie Starkz says Jacksonville studio consistency is forcing fresher ROH content

Starkz said the same ROH-focused crowd returning in Jacksonville means the roster cannot recycle the same material, and the immediate consequence is more pressure to create fresh weekly presentation.

She also described the production evolution as gradual, with small upgrades accumulating into a visibly stronger overall show identity.

Quote from Billie Starkz

"It’s been a great experience so far. Having it truly focused on ROH and our roster has been so helpful for everyone who needed that extra minute and extra time to figure out our lives through ROH."

Billie Starkz later went on to say:

"For someone like me, who has been able to be in front of so many different crowds, it doesn’t bother. I do feel the atmosphere shift because it is a different type of crowd than you would get after Dynamite or Collision. These crowds showed up just for ROH, and they’ve been here for a couple of weeks, so we can’t be predictable and give them something we gave them last week. We have to give them something new, and having this time in Jacksonville where it’s just about ROH is giving us that time to do that."

Billie Starkz later went on to say:

"It was very noticeable. I was getting off the bus with somebody and we both had that moment of, ‘Oh, this has changed so much.’ It’s taken baby steps to get there, but all these little baby steps are adding up to make the product so much better."
