Summary
Brooke Hogan says she was deeply hurt by the way WWE's tribute appearances for Hulk Hogan were handled after her father's death in July 2025.
She explained that after people criticized her for not attending the July 28, 2025 episode of Raw, where WWE held a 10-bell salute and her brother Nick Hogan appeared, she later learned the invitation had been relayed through her brother rather than coming to her directly.
Brooke said the situation hit especially hard because she had spent so much energy fighting for her father that she felt she was close to losing herself in the process. Her comments come months after she also chose not to take part in the upcoming Hulk Hogan Netflix documentary.
Quote from Brooke Hogan
Speaking on Bubba the Love Sponge Show, Brooke Hogan said:
"I said something on Instagram where I was like, 'For everybody giving me crap for not being there, I wasn't invited.' Nick Khan called me personally and said that he extended the invite through my brother. That was kind of it. So I would imagine that if I were to be able to go, I would probably have to be invited by Nick, my brother. It really hurt to see Andre the Giant's daughter there because this is the thing… Right now, at the point in life I'm at, I could not be more disappointed and hurt. I'm just flabbergasted. I have no more tears to cry. I have no more gusto in me. I fought for my dad. The truth is, I fought so hard for my dad until I literally was about to lose myself."
What Brooke Hogan's comments mean for future WWE tributes
Brooke Hogan's account suggests her absence from WWE's on-air memorial programming was not simply a matter of declining to appear. By her telling, the breakdown came in how the invitation was passed along, and that leaves some uncertainty around whether she would take part in future tributes if WWE contacted her directly.
It also keeps the focus on how strained family dynamics shaped a very public moment after Hulk Hogan's death. With Nick Hogan appearing on Raw and Brooke staying away, her comments add another layer to why that split was so visible to wrestling fans.
