Summary
WWE brought more celebrity names into the spotlight during WrestleMania 42 night two at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The front-row guest list shown during the event included J.O.P. (Jesús Ortiz Paz), Rick Rubin, Jahmyr Gibbs, George Kittle, Tyrese Haliburton, Tony Hinchcliffe and Rob Gronkowski. Daniel Cormier also appeared on the Kickoff show, while Joe Jonas performed the national anthem to open the second night.
That followed another headline-grabbing crowd on Saturday, when WrestleMania 42 night one drew an announced attendance of 50,816 as the weekend took over Las Vegas.
Who WWE showed during night two
WWE's night-two presentation leaned into the event feel by cutting to celebrities throughout the broadcast while also featuring Joe Jonas in the opening performance slot.
Cormier's appearance on the Kickoff show added another recognizable sports name to the WrestleMania 42 weekend mix, alongside NFL players, music figures and other entertainment names seated near ringside.
WrestleMania 42 kept the crossover spotlight on WWE
WrestleMania 42 using Gronkowski, Rubin and the rest of that front-row lineup on camera reinforced how much WWE wants the show to feel bigger than a standard stadium card. For fans, it was another sign that WrestleMania weekend is still being framed as a major crossover event, not just the company's biggest in-ring show of the year.
