Summary
CM Punk's WrestleMania 42 entrance is playing differently on ESPN Unlimited than it did on the live show.
During night two on April 19, Punk entered to "Miseria Cantaré" by AFI as part of a special presentation before "Cult of Personality" took over. In the replay now available on ESPN Unlimited, that licensed AFI music has been replaced with generic stock music instead.
What changed in the replay
The original entrance included a video of Punk on top of Allegiant Stadium, followed by a short stretch where he walked out without music before the rest of his entrance theme began. That first portion is where the replay change has been noticed.
The altered version appears to be specific to ESPN Unlimited. The same entrance still includes "Miseria Cantaré" in clips posted to X and YouTube, and it also remains intact on the Netflix replay available internationally.
What this means for CM Punk's WrestleMania 42 presentation
For WWE fans, this is a notable change because Punk's use of "Miseria Cantaré" was one of the standout details of the WrestleMania 42 entrance itself. Swapping that song out on one replay platform changes the feel of a moment that was built around nostalgia and presentation.
It also adds another small wrinkle to how WrestleMania 42 is being preserved across platforms. That matters with Punk in particular, because even before the event he was tied closely to Triple H thanking him for "the house" as WWE leaned into the scale of his return to the biggest stage.
