Summary
Darby Allin is heading into AEW Dynasty with more on the line than just a match against Andrade. A win would earn him a future shot at MJF's AEW World Championship, which would mark his first title opportunity since Double or Nothing 2023.
With that in mind, Allin said his current issues with the Don Callis Family are something he wants resolved quickly. In the same interview, he also discussed Tony Khan watching him jump a Jeep over his house.
Quote from Darby Allin
"I feel that shit is cursed. Everybody that is in that family seems hurt in real life. It's just like everybody's getting hurt. I feel like, man, let's just hope and pray that I can make it through The Don Callis family without getting hurt. Because I would love to fight for the championship. I'd love to do all this stuff. Right now, I can't afford to get hurt. But there's a curse going on in The Don Callis family, so I'm trying to get done with it as fast as possible."
What AEW Dynasty could mean for Darby Allin
Allin tied his concern directly to the bigger prize waiting at Dynasty. If he gets past Andrade, he moves back into the AEW World Championship picture, so avoiding another setback matters as much as winning the match itself.
That also gives his comments extra weight in the context of the Don Callis Family story. Allin is not framing this as a long detour, he is framing it as something he wants behind him before it costs him a real shot at MJF.
