Summary

Ethan Page says his move to WWE Raw has not changed how much time he spends at the Performance Center, and he already sees coaching as part of his long-term future once his in-ring career ends.

While speaking with Anthony Sulla-Heffinger of Uncrowned, Page said he still trains in Orlando on a near-daily basis and wants to keep building his place within WWE's system. His comments come at a time when the company is still investing heavily in the facility, including the recent unveiling of its April 2026 rookie class.

Quote from Ethan Page

"I'm trying to grow these roots as deep as I can. These things take many years to come to fruition, so my goal is to just kind of engrain myself in the Performance Center, in Orlando, to show my availability to the company, my dedication. I've got a lot of NXT superstars who I meet up with to chat about matches or just to honestly throw myself under the bus and show them something I did that I thought was terrible so they can avoid it."

Page later went on to say:

"Ultimately, yes, I am sure I'll end up being a coach or doing something. I don't want to speak out of turn because I don't control any of the decisions, but I would readily make myself available for it. I obsess over wrestling and I love this. I am a busybody, I think I'll go insane if I'm not working. The second I'm done physically wrestling, I will be knocking on Shawn Michaels' door or whoever is running NXT to say, 'OK, I'm ready, what do you need?'"

Winner

Ethan Page won his first Raw match by defeating Je'Von Evans.

Ethan Page's long-term place in WWE

Page's comments frame him as more than a Raw newcomer looking for television time. By staying closely tied to the Performance Center even after reaching Raw, he is positioning himself as someone WWE can use both on screen and eventually behind the scenes.

That matters because Page already has credibility from his NXT run, where he captured the NXT Championship and the NXT North American Championship before moving to the main roster.

Ethan Page, NXT, and the Intercontinental Title picture

Page is currently targeting Penta and the WWE Intercontinental Championship, so his comments arrive while he is still trying to establish himself on Raw. If he keeps gaining television momentum while remaining visible at the Performance Center, WWE has more reason to see him as a useful bridge between the main roster and NXT.

WWE also benefits from having an active performer who is openly invested in helping younger talent. That does not guarantee a future coaching role, but Page made it clear he wants to be in that conversation when his in-ring run is over.
