Summary
Fallyn Grey says her recent WWE tryout at the Performance Center in Orlando left her feeling both nervous and comfortable in the environment, an experience that was quickly followed by her WWE ID contract becoming official.
Grey discussed the tryout during an appearance on the Dudes at Ringside podcast, where she described trying to stay composed through the medical exam and the in-ring portion of the session. The appearance adds more detail to the process that came shortly before Grey officially signed her WWE ID contract.
How Fallyn Grey Described the WWE Tryout
Grey said managing her nerves was a major part of the day, especially while trying to make the right impression during match-building drills at the Performance Center.
Quote from Fallyn Grey
"What was going through me was, I'm already nervous as it is, so don't drink any more caffeine so I can pass the medical exam and not have high blood pressure. I knew I was going to be nervous as it was, so I was like, my heart rate's going to be... I just wanted to make sure I made a good impression. When I'm especially nervous, sometimes that's when I jump the gun and maybe don't think about the next spot versus the spot right in front of me when we were putting together matches. In order not to botch, I had to stay in the present, stay in the present, stay in the present, and overall, I think just, the camaraderie that I built there, and I think that made a lasting impression. I'd like to think that the tryouts didn't go too shabby. But I was nervous, but I was excited, and I also felt at home."
Grey later went on to explain how she learned she had been brought into WWE ID:
"It was a phone call, and I can't remember exactly when. I think it was a couple days after we went home, and yeah, I got the call. I was ecstatic."
What This Means for Fallyn Grey in WWE ID
Grey's comments make it clear that the tryout was not just another appearance, it was a successful step in the process that led directly to her WWE ID deal. For WWE followers, that gives more context to how quickly Grey turned a strong Performance Center showing into an official spot in the program.
The bigger takeaway is that Grey already sounds comfortable in that setting. If she keeps building on the momentum from the tryout and the signing, her WWE ID path becomes one to watch a little more closely than it did when the contract news first broke.
