Summary
Callum Newman is heading back to Revolution Pro Wrestling for its Revolution Rumble event on May 17 at The Dome in Doncaster. The reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion is scheduled for a singles match against 19-year-old Leon Cage.
The booking marks Newman's first RevPro match since September 2025. Since then, he has taken a major step forward in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Sakura Genesis and becoming the youngest wrestler to hold the title.
Newman's RevPro Match Before Dominion
Newman will make the RevPro appearance with a busy stretch already in front of him. He recently made his first successful IWGP Heavyweight Title defense against Shingo Takagi, and he also has his Dominion rematch with Yota Tsuji already set for June 14.
That gives this RevPro match a little extra weight even as a non-title bout. Newman is returning home to a familiar stage while still carrying NJPW's top championship, and a clean outing against Leon Cage would keep his momentum intact heading into one of the biggest defenses of his reign so far.
What Leon Cage Gains From This Spot
For Leon Cage, the opportunity is obvious. Sharing the ring with the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion gives the 19-year-old a showcase match against one of the fastest-rising names in the scene, and it puts extra attention on RevPro's Doncaster card.
