Summary

Jade Cargill said she would be interested in chasing the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship, and she already has a manager in mind if that ever happens.

While doing media ahead of WrestleMania 42, Cargill was asked about following the path Chyna once took by holding the Intercontinental title. Cargill said she would welcome that opportunity, then added that Paul Heyman would be her choice to guide her if she made that move.

That comment comes with Cargill already in a major spot on the card, as she is set to defend the WWE Women's Championship against Rhea Ripley on night two of WrestleMania 42. Ripley has also praised how quickly Cargill has grown on WWE television heading into the match.

Chyna's influence on Jade Cargill

Cargill was discussing the influence Joanie Laurer, better known as Chyna, had on her when the conversation turned to the Intercontinental Championship. Chyna's run with that title was brought up, and Cargill made it clear she would be open to pursuing the women's version of the belt if WWE gave her that lane.

The current WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion is A.J. Lee, who is scheduled to defend the title against Becky Lynch on night one of WrestleMania 42.

Quote from Jade Cargill

"Of course. If they let me and, listen, I would love Paul Heyman to be my manager if I'm going that route. But, if they let me, I would love that and I would take over for sure. Of course."

When the idea of a Cargill and Heyman pairing was described as next-level, she added:

"Let it happen, guys. Let it happen."

What Paul Heyman could mean for Jade Cargill

If WWE ever puts Jade Cargill in the Women's Intercontinental Championship picture, attaching Paul Heyman to her presentation would immediately make that move feel like more than a side quest. It would frame Cargill as a featured attraction even outside the world title scene.

It also says something about how Cargill sees herself in WWE. She is not talking about stepping down the ladder, she is talking about taking over another part of the roster with the biggest possible co-sign beside her.
