Summary
Mansoor announced that he and Jeet Rama are stepping away from WXM in India.
In his statement, Mansoor said he had served for the past year and a half as booker, head writer, and showrunner, and credited Jeet Rama for giving him that opportunity.
WXM launched in 2025. Mansoor said he is proud of the team’s work, encouraged fans to keep watching the promotion’s shows, and stated he plans to continue working with Jeet Rama on broader goals for Indian professional wrestling.
Jeet Rama’s departure creates a major leadership shift for WXM
Jeet Rama leaving WXM immediately changes the promotion’s leadership structure, and Mansoor’s exit alongside him means two key creative drivers are gone at the same time.
Mansoor’s comments also indicate their partnership is continuing outside WXM, which suggests their focus may now shift toward a separate path for expanding Indian wrestling internationally.
Quote from Mansoor
"For the past year and a half, I have had the privilege of acting as booker, head writer, and showrunner for India’s biggest professional wrestling promotion, WXM. The man who gave me that opportunity and trusted me with such a huge responsibility was none other than my close friend Satender Dagar, known to the wrestling world as Jeet Rama. Now despite being a 10 time kushti heavyweight champion and legitimate badass, Jeet is the kindest and most principled man I have ever known. His dream for professional wrestling in his home country inspired me and so many others, including a tremendously talented roster and staff who were proud to follow his vision. Unfortunately, with Jeet’s departure from WXM, I am choosing to step away from the company as well. I am immensely proud of the work we did, and encourage everyone reading this to check out our show on the WXM youtube channel. I hope they continue to thrive and wish them all the success in the world. There is a reason we all lovingly refer to Jeet as “Captain.” He is the man that I’d trust to lead us into the unknown and take any risk. I am beyond excited to continue working with him, and will do everything I can to help achieve his dream of bringing Indian professional wrestling to the global stage. There is no man alive with more “Jigra” than our captain, Jeet. I want to thank all the wrestling fans in the great country of India and around the world who have supported us on this journey, and can’t wait to show you what’s next. Jai Hind!"
