Summary
Myka Lockwood officially aligned with Vanity Project on the May 5 episode of WWE NXT, stepping into the finish of Jackson Drake's singles match against Jasper Troy.
Drake had Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor at ringside for the bout, and Jasper Troy spent part of the match fighting off their attempts to tilt things in Drake's favor. During that chaos, Lockwood showed up, body slammed Troy, and threw him back into the ring so Drake could capitalize.
The appearance gave Vanity Project a new member on television and directly changed the outcome of the match.
Winner
Jackson Drake defeated Jasper Troy after Myka Lockwood interfered and helped put Troy back in position for the finish.
What Myka Lockwood's arrival means for Vanity Project
Lockwood's involvement gives Vanity Project another body around Drake, Smokes, and Baylor, which immediately makes the faction more dangerous in match settings where numbers already matter.
It also pays off the earlier NXT interaction between Lockwood and Drake, after Shiloh Hill set Drake up with a fake date and Lockwood wound up meeting him instead. Now that thread has moved from a character bit into a clear on-screen alliance.
Lockwood has also been working NXT house shows and appeared on the first two seasons of WWE LFG, so the segment gave her a defined role inside current NXT storylines.
