Summary
Nattie says she has spent real time thinking about creating her own combat sports project after Josh Barnett stepped away from Bloodsport.
While discussing the idea in a recent interview, Nattie said the appeal comes from what Bloodsport represented for her as a performer. She described it as a place where wrestlers go to prove something, and said that experience made her wonder whether she could build a similar concept herself.
Quote from Nattie
"When I heard that Josh Barnett was not doing Bloodsport anymore, there was a big part of me and there is a big part of me that said, ‘Why can’t I do something like that? Why can’t I be the first female promoter in WWE history to start something up of my own that’s comparable to Bloodsport. Because what Bloodsport did for me and what Josh Barnett did for me, in competing there and building something new and proving myself — Bloodsport for me is like, what do you have to prove? You’ve got to have a chip on your shoulder to do that and do it great. There are people that are going there and going to Bloodsport and fighting to prove something. I was like, man, that would be a dream for me to bring something like that to life. I’ve thought about that quite a bit. Of course, nothing is solidified or anything like that but I was like, that’s a dream of mine to create something all new and be the first female to do that."
Nattie's Bloodsport history
Before the promotion went on hiatus, Nattie worked three Bloodsport matches and won all of them, beating Shayna Baszler, Masha Slamovich, and Miyu Yamashita.
That run has already become part of her current talking points. In a separate recent interview, Nattie said Steve Austin praised her Bloodsport fight and that she wants Jaida Parker next.
What the idea could mean for WWE
If Nattie ever turns this into something concrete, it would give her a lane inside WWE that goes beyond being an active roster veteran. Her comments point to a possible hybrid role where she could help shape a tougher, more presentation-driven project tied to the credibility she built in Bloodsport.
For now, Nattie made it clear this is still just an ambition, not an announcement. Still, the fact she framed it around making WWE history shows this is more than a passing thought.
