Summary

Nick Khan says WWE may think twice before taking WrestleMania back to the same city in consecutive years.

WrestleMania 41 and WrestleMania 42 were both held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, making it the first time since WrestleMania IV and WrestleMania V that WWE ran its biggest annual event in the same location in back-to-back years. Khan acknowledged during a TKO town hall that the decision was his, while also saying the show still ended up being successful.

Khan also used the discussion to tease WWE's WrestleMania 44 destination in 2028. WrestleMania 43 is already set for Saudi Arabia. The town hall also produced separate comments from Khan about WWE's approach to Saudi Arabia.

Quote from Nick Khan

"That was ultimately my decision. Maybe we don't do that one again in terms of back-to-back, but ultimately it ended up being a successful event."

Nick Khan later went on to say:

"Wait until you hear the announcement on where we're going to be for WrestleMania in 2028."

What Nick Khan's Las Vegas comment means for WrestleMania

Khan's remark suggests WWE sees the two-year Las Vegas run as a useful test case, but not necessarily a model it plans to repeat often. With attendance for WrestleMania 42 becoming a talking point, WWE now has a direct example that even its biggest event may need location changes to preserve demand year over year.

It also puts a little more attention on the next WrestleMania site announcement. If WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia already represents a major shift, then Khan's tease about 2028 hints WWE wants the follow-up destination to feel important as well.
