Summary

WWE has added two new segments to the March 27 episode of SmackDown.

Randy Orton is scheduled to appear, with a tease asking who he will attack next after laying out Cody Rhodes two weeks ago and Matt Cardona last week.

General Manager Nick Aldis will also provide an update on Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre after both men fell off a steel structure to close last Friday’s show.

The current lineup also includes Kit Wilson vs. Jelly Roll, Giulia defending the WWE Women’s United States Title against Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair vs. The Bella Twins, and a Cody Rhodes return.

Randy Orton and Jacob Fatu-Drew McIntyre fallout now anchor key SmackDown follow-up beats

Orton’s teased appearance puts immediate focus on another possible attack, and the direct consequence is added uncertainty around Cody Rhodes’ return segment on the same show.

Aldis addressing Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre after last week’s fall also signals WWE is moving that rivalry into a formal next phase instead of treating the incident as a one-week stunt.
