Summary
Renee Paquette says her favorite moments in AEW right now come during her ringside previews for Continental Championship matches involving Jon Moxley.
Speaking on *Who Is...?*, Paquette said those segments have taken on extra meaning because she now gets to deliver them ahead of her husband's title defenses. She said she enjoys the role on its own, but the chance to be at ringside for Moxley's entrances has made those appearances stand out even more.
That connection has become more visible during Moxley's current run as Continental Champion, which has already put him back in the spotlight for upcoming matches like his Dynasty defense against Will Ospreay.
Quote from Renee Paquette
"I sort of feel like my favorite moment is kind of new. So because I do those little hits during the Continental Championship matches, so with Jon (Moxley) being the Continental Champion, I love getting to go out for his entrances. So I like getting to do those anyways, just to give a little piece of information. I feel like I'm just doing more, and I like doing them. But the fact that I get to do them with Jon now is really cool. I also just feel like in the last couple years, just being able to watch Jon and watch him fall back in love with wrestling and understand wrestling from like his point of view is really cool, but then for me to get to go out there and be there for his entrance and hear the crowd reacting to him, to even having just a little moment of him passing through the shot while I'm speaking to camera, giving a note on something about him going into the match or his opponent. I have multiples of those, but I do think the very first time that we got to do one of those, I was like, 'whoa.' It was really cool. I get to watch him all the time, but it's usually from a monitor. It's from like a different perspective. But to get to be right there at ringside as he's like coming up over the barricade or like out where he's about to walk into the crowd was really cool."
Jon Moxley's AEW run gives the segments extra weight
Jon Moxley's current Continental Championship run gives those Paquette standups a bigger spotlight, because they are now tied directly to one of AEW's most protected stars and one of its featured title programs.
Paquette's comments also underline how AEW has carved out a distinct on-camera role for her beyond standard interview duties. In this case, the match-preview format has become part of the presentation around Moxley's entrances and title defenses.
