Summary
Sol Ruca made a surprise appearance on Monday's WWE Raw when she interrupted Liv Morgan during Morgan's championship celebration.
Ruca opened by praising Morgan as the top woman in the division, but the exchange quickly turned hostile. Morgan told her to leave the ring before she failed to make it to next year's WrestleMania, and Ruca stayed put long enough for Adam Pearce to make a singles match on the spot.
Winner
Liv Morgan defeated Sol Ruca by pinfall after Zaria attacked Ruca while the referee was distracted. Ruca beat the countout after the ambush, but Morgan followed with Oblivion to finish the match.
What Sol Ruca and Zaria add to Raw
Sol Ruca's appearance immediately gave Raw a fresh opponent for Morgan, and Zaria's involvement turned it into more than a one-night crossover. If WWE follows up on this, the bigger takeaway is that Morgan now has issues with more than one rising name at once, while Ruca and Zaria have both been placed in front of the Raw audience.
That matters because the segment did not present Ruca as an underdog cameo who wandered onto the wrong show. WWE framed her as confident enough to interrupt a champion's celebration, then used Zaria's attack to protect her in defeat.
