Summary

Ric Flair said he was not invited to WWE WrestleMania 42 after threatening Ludwig Kaiser during the fallout from Charlotte Flair's program with Tiffany Stratton in 2025.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Flair said the issue started after Tiffany Stratton made comments about Charlotte Flair's divorces and Kaiser then allegedly implied something about Charlotte on social media. Flair said he got Kaiser's number, threatened him, and believes that led to him being kept away from WrestleMania this year.

The Hall of Famer framed the situation as another example of politics getting in the way of his relationship with WWE. That also comes after Flair continued commenting on the company publicly, including when he praised Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton after WrestleMania 42.

Quote from Ric Flair

"I know what I've accomplished. I know what I've done. I feel like, and I do feel this way, that I should have a red carpet wherever I go. And I'm not afraid to tell you that, I didn't get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton's husband last year, I wasn't allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid being threatened by a 76-year-old man, and I can't go to WrestleMania? Are you kidding me? That English kid, he's going to go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He'll be a fly on the wall in a year."

Flair later went on to say:

"Well, they had that thing, you know, where Tiffany made this smart remark about Ashley's divorces, which we both know she's not smart enough to have written. Somebody gave her the script. And then, he implied that, I'm just going based on social media once again, which is a lot, that he was implying that he wouldn't bum one off Ashley. And I went, 'okay, I need your number.' I got it. Which I can get anybody's number I want any minute of any day. And I called him, I said, 'hey, when I see you, I'm gonna beat the shit out of you.' So he went like a little bitch, told Hunter, and I wasn't allowed to go."

Flair also took another shot at Kaiser later in the interview.

"He's gonna really go far in the business. A 76-year-old man tells a 24-year-old kid he's going to kick his ass. And where is he now? Is he even on the roster?"

What Ric Flair's WWE comments say about his standing

Flair's comments suggest the tension from the Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton storyline spilled far enough behind the scenes that he believes it affected his access to WrestleMania 42. Even if WWE has not publicly addressed it, Flair clearly thinks his status with the company is not what he believes it should be.

For WWE fans, the bigger takeaway is that Flair still sees himself as part of the company's inner circle while openly criticizing how he is treated. That makes any future WWE appearance by Flair feel less automatic than it once did, especially when Charlotte Flair is involved in a high-profile program.
