Summary

Robert Stone announced on social media that he is now the full-time General Manager of WWE NXT.

Stone said thanks to William Regal, Shawn Michaels, and the fans after the promotion became official.

He had been serving as interim GM since the February 3 episode of NXT, after Ava (Simone Johnson) left WWE on January 30. Before that, Stone worked as Ava’s assistant during her run as GM.

At the end of Tuesday’s NXT, Stone also announced that Joe Hendry will defend the NXT Title against Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, and Tony D’Angelo in a four-way match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Robert Stone’s full-time appointment stabilizes NXT leadership before Stand & Deliver

Making Stone permanent gives NXT a clearer authority structure heading into Stand & Deliver season, and the immediate consequence is that major match announcements now carry stronger continuity from week to week.

His confirmation also locks in the same on-screen figure who already advanced the Joe Hendry title storyline, which helps maintain momentum around the NXT championship program.
