Summary
Royce Keys says he is ready for anyone in WWE, and he did not aim low when asked about possible opponents.
Keys said he would love to share the ring with Gunther, Trick Williams, Jacob Fatu and Oba Femi. The comments come after his WWE debut in the 2026 Men's Royal Rumble match and recent appearances on Main Event and SmackDown.
Fatu stands out most from that list because WWE has already put Keys around him on television as the Fatu and Roman Reigns rivalry continues. Trick Williams was another name Keys brought up, and Williams recently had his United States Championship match with Sami Zayn added to Backlash.
Quote from Royce Keys
"Anybody and everybody, anybody that gets in the ring can get it."
Keys later went on to say:
"I take what I want, and that’s something I lived by my whole life. I would love to get in the ring with Gunther, Trick Williams, Jacob Fatu, Oba Femi. Anybody, man, I’m down. I don’t run from anybody. It can be anybody."
After naming Fatu, Keys also described what that matchup would look like:
"Nobody gonna get in between us. If you’re in a bar and you see two big dudes go at it, what are you going to do? Hard hitting, going at it. Nonstop action. Two dudes that refuse to lay down for anybody. Somebody’s not going to get up."
What Jacob Fatu could mean for Royce Keys
Jacob Fatu is the clearest next-step name here because Keys has already been placed near him on SmackDown, and that gives WWE an easy way to turn this talk into an actual television match. If that does not happen right away, Keys still framed himself as a wrestler looking for big, physical names across the roster, which puts Gunther, Trick Williams and Oba Femi in the same lane of opponents he wants to test himself against.
