Summary
Shawn Michaels said Bret Hart would have plenty to offer if he ever wanted to spend time at the WWE Performance Center as a guest coach or seminar leader.
Michaels, who helps oversee WWE's developmental system, explained that the Performance Center regularly brings in experienced names to work with talent. He said Hart has never appeared especially interested in that kind of role, but added that WWE would welcome the chance if that ever changed. Michaels recently also addressed another Hart comment about Vince McMahon while making media rounds.
Quote from Shawn Michaels
"I can’t see Bret wanting to move his entire life to Florida or anything like that. I’m sure he’s been asked before, I’d have to ask Matt (Bloom). If he ever wanted to come down and do a seminar or guest coach, but he’s never really shown much interest in that kind of stuff. You’d be crazy not to think that Bret Hart doesn’t add value to anything when it comes to wrestling. If he were ever interested in doing something like that, we’d jump at the chance for that. I’ve never seen him go to any of [Nattie’s training sessions], so I just always assume, if you’re not doing it for family, you probably don’t want to do it for us. That’s pure speculation on my part."
What Bret Hart could add to NXT
Michaels made it clear there is no sign Hart is actively pursuing a coaching role, so this is not a hiring update. Still, Hart's reputation for ring psychology and technical detail explains why Michaels said WWE would "jump at the chance" if he ever wanted to contribute.
For NXT talent, even a short Hart seminar would stand out because the Performance Center already uses veteran coaches and guest visits to shape prospects before they reach the main roster. Michaels' comments frame Hart as someone WWE still sees as highly valuable in that environment, even if the interest would have to come from Hart himself.
