Summary
WrestleCon has named a new main event for the 2026 Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow after the originally advertised Ricochet vs. Leon Slater match was scrapped.
The new headliner for the April 16 event is The Demand, Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, against JetSpeed, Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight, with Michael Oku rounding out the opposing side.
That change follows Leon Slater being removed from the WrestleCon supershow match with Ricochet, with TNA previously citing partner conflicts for pulling Slater from the booking.
Updated WrestleCon Supershow card
Along with the new main event, the lineup currently announced for WrestleCon's April 16 show includes Heath and Rhino vs. The Head Bangers, Masato Tanaka vs. Mark Davis, The Swirl vs. Subculture, a four-way tag featuring CPF, Love And Peace, MxFx and The StarMen, plus Bandido vs. Galeno Del Mal.
What the new main event means for WrestleCon
Ricochet staying in the main event keeps a recognizable AEW name at the top of the WrestleCon card, and adding Bailey, Knight and Oku gives the show a six-man attraction with strong independent and crossover appeal even after the singles match fell apart.
It also gives WrestleCon a way to pivot quickly without losing the story around the card change, because the replacement bout directly grows out of the Slater cancellation instead of feeling disconnected from it.
