Summary

WWE SmackDown drew 1.267 million viewers on USA Network for the April 24 episode, down from the 1.580 million viewers the show posted on April 17.

The episode also posted a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That was down from the 0.42 demo rating the week before.

The April 24 broadcast finished second on cable for the night behind the NFL Draft on ESPN. The drop continues the usual post-WrestleMania comedown for weekly television, and it follows a stronger number for the previous week's April 10 SmackDown viewership report.

What the NFL Draft meant for SmackDown

SmackDown still landing at No. 2 on cable matters, because the NFL Draft gave Friday night television one of its toughest yearly sports competitors. Even with that context, the fall from 1.580 million to 1.267 million viewers is a notable week-to-week step down after WrestleMania 42 season.

The 18-49 decline matters too. SmackDown dropped a full tenth in the demo, and that leaves this episode looking more like a post-premium live event cooldown than a sign that WWE had fully held onto the larger audience from the prior week.

Most-watched WWE clips from April 24

The most-viewed clips from the episode on WWE's YouTube channel were led by Jacob Fatu content, as both his post-match destruction of The MFTs and his kick to Tama Tonga reached 1.1 million views.

Danhausen's home invasion segment with The Miz drew 576,000 views, while their match brought in 461,000 views. Sami Zayn ambushing Trick Williams while dressed as the Gingerbread Man rounded out the top five at 385,000 views.
