Summary

WWE has announced a new Netflix comedy special tied to WrestleMania 42 week, with Tony Hinchcliffe set to headline *Kill Tony: WrestleMania*.

The special will premiere on Netflix on Monday, April 20, alongside the annual *Raw* after WrestleMania. It is scheduled to be filmed at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 18.

According to the announcement, the show will feature appearances from WWE Superstars, WWE Legends, established comedians and celebrity guests. The usual *Kill Tony* format will remain in place, with aspiring comics performing short stand-up sets before receiving feedback from Hinchcliffe and the guest panel.

Tickets for the event are now available through Ticketmaster.

What Kill Tony: WrestleMania means for WrestleMania 42 week

WWE is using *Kill Tony: WrestleMania* to stretch its Netflix partnership beyond the two-night WrestleMania broadcast and into the rest of the weekend's programming. Putting the special on April 20, the same day as *Raw* after WrestleMania, gives WWE another piece of event-week content during one of the busiest stretches on its calendar.

The announcement also shows WWE continuing to lean into crossover programming around WrestleMania. With WWE Superstars and Legends advertised for the special, the event is being positioned as another attraction in Las Vegas rather than just a separate comedy taping.

Event details announced by WWE

WWE said *Kill Tony: WrestleMania* will be a closed-doors event filmed during WrestleMania 42 week. WrestleMania 42 itself is scheduled to stream internationally on Netflix on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.
