Summary
Zoey Stark has confirmed that she is leaving WWE.
The departure comes after a long absence from television following the knee injury she suffered on the May 19, 2025 episode of Raw. That injury led to surgery for ACL, MCL and meniscus damage, and she had not returned to WWE programming after teasing a comeback earlier this year.
The report on Stark's exit also noted that she was recently cleared.
Stark's WWE run
Stark joined WWE in 2021 through NXT and quickly became part of the brand's women's division. During that run, she won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship alongside IYO SKY.
She also spent time on the main roster as part of Pure Fusion Collective with Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville. With Stark now leaving and Deville already gone, that group will not be returning in its original form.
What Zoey Stark's exit means for WWE
Stark's departure closes the door on WWE bringing her straight back into the women's roster mix after she was cleared, which makes this more notable than a routine release. It also removes another name from a faction that had already been weakened, leaving Baszler without that original grouping around her.
