Everyone is coming after me because they know that I am the face of the women’s division. Mickie and I have had nothing but amazing times, amazing friendships. We’ve been on the road together for many, many years. She has paved the way. She’s an awesome competitor. But I had nothing but kind words to say. A couple months ago when I was the Knockouts Champion, I was asked the question, ‘who would I like to face in the ring?’ I said, let’s bring Mickie James back just as friendly competition. I don’t know if she took it the wrong way, but a couple weeks ago you saw after one of our matches, she stormed out and brought it to me, and she’s had nothing but negative things to say about me. ODB has been in my DMs for months, months, messaging saying, ‘hey, I have my food truck outside.’ Why don’t you come and get a plate and we can chat it up? Nothing but friendly banter, and now she wants to come after me. Taryn Terrell I was at a signing with her a couple months back. She was at my table saying what a big fan she was, and now she’s after me. I mean, I just don’t understand. I guess they just want to be in the spotlight. Mickie James, I will say, is a legend, but the other two, I don’t know what you want to call them."

What It Means for TNA Rebellion

TNA Rebellion now has a sharper personal edge because Ash is drawing a line between James and the two other former Knockouts she will be facing. That gives the six-woman tag a more defined generational angle instead of treating it as a simple reunion match.
