Green has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury in February, so the film project gives her another public-facing role while she remains away from the ring.

It also adds to her recent screen work. Back in March, it was reported that Green would make a cameo appearance in Hate The Player: The Ben Johnson Story.

Green has also remained part of the WWE conversation during her absence, with John Cena recently praising her WWE instincts.
