Summary
Eddie Kingston says nothing has changed between him and CM Punk since their feud in 2021. Speaking during a panel appearance at Squared Circle Expo, Kingston said the two still do not like each other and would need to be kept apart if they ever worked in the same company again.
The comments came not long after Kingston was announced for his first RevPro match since 2020, but his focus here was firmly on the hostility that still exists with Punk.
Quote from Eddie Kingston
"People ask me and this and they're like, 'Oh, what did you guys talk about, this is that?' Listen, I didn't say a word to him. We went in there and we fought. That's it. Phil don't like me, I don't like Phil. That's it and that's the way it's going to be. My thing is this, I'm not talking shit about him, it's just the way it is. We don't like each other. If we're in the same company together, we're going to probably run into each other, you've got to put cops in front of us. That's it. I don't wish him bad, I don't wish him good, just be over there. That's it."
Kingston later went on to say:
"Whatever, I fought him, it wasn't even a match. He did bleed, bro, I enjoyed the fuck out of that when he started bleeding. I told him, I whispered in his ear and I said, 'Let me taste if there's pussy in your fucking blood.' That shows you how much I don't like him."
Eddie Kingston And CM Punk Still Carry Full Gear 2021 Heat
Kingston's remarks make it clear that, for him, the Full Gear 2021 program with CM Punk is not something he looks back on as ordinary wrestling business. That keeps the feud memorable for fans because the tension he described still sounds personal years later.
It also means any future overlap involving Kingston and Punk would immediately come with built-in history. Even without a new angle attached to it, Kingston's comments show that rivalry still has emotional weight attached to it.
