Summary

WrestleCon announced on Friday that several advertised names will no longer be able to attend this weekend's convention appearance schedule. Jamie Hayter and Gabe Kidd were among the wrestlers listed, along with Paul Roma, Jim Powers, Rob Conway, Penelope Ford, Kip Sabian, and Mario Mancini.

The convention also said it was adding roughly 20 late guests to the floor across Friday, though no replacement list was included in the update.

WrestleCon guest list changes

The update affects talent from multiple corners of the wrestling world, but Hayter stands out as one of the more notable late scratches given her profile in AEW heading into one of the busiest fan weekends of the year.

Kidd's removal is also a notable change for fans who expected to see one of NJPW's more talked-about names in Las Vegas. WrestleCon did not provide reasons for any of the absences in its announcement.

What Jamie Hayter and Gabe Kidd missing WrestleCon changes

For fans traveling in for WrestleMania weekend, this is mainly a convention-floor change rather than a broader event announcement. There is nothing in the update to suggest an in-ring status issue for Hayter, Kidd, or the other names who were removed.

It does, however, thin out some of the current-star appeal on the guest side of the weekend. Hayter in particular has remained a point of interest in AEW, especially after recently discussing how Toni Storm's absence opens the door for the AEW women's division.
