Summary

La Catalina is reportedly set to make her AAA debut on Saturday, April 11, only days after her departure from CMLL became official.

According to the report, the appearance would make her the first talent to move from CMLL to AAA since WWE purchased AAA last April. La Catalina previously worked for WWE from 2019 to 2021.

CMLL announced on Tuesday that La Catalina was no longer part of its Amazonas roster after deciding not to renew the contractual relationship. AAA programming airs on Fox Mexico and YouTube.

What a La Catalina move could mean for AAA and CMLL

If La Catalina does appear for AAA this weekend, it would give the promotion an immediate addition with name value in both Mexico and WWE history.

It would also stand out because movement between CMLL and AAA is so rare. That makes this less about a routine debut and more about a notable roster crossover at a time when both companies remain closely watched.

Quote from CMLL

"The World Wrestling Council announces that, effective April 1, 2026, La Catalina is no longer a member of the CMLL Amazonas roster. This stems from the conclusion of the contractual relationship, which was not renewed by the sole and express decision of the wrestler herself, who unequivocally stated and formalized her desire not to continue said relationship, as this is in her best interests."

CMLL added:

"The CMLL wishes you success in your future endeavors. For institutional purposes, this will be our only statement on the matter."
