Summary

ODB says she is still trying to secure a WWE appearance through the working relationship between TNA and WWE.

The former Knockouts champion recently returned to the spotlight at TNA Rebellion, where she was surprised with the news that she will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame during Bound For Glory weekend in October. After that announcement, ODB said she has continued bringing up the possibility of making at least a one-off appearance on WWE programming.

She also pointed to how unusual her career path has been compared with many of her peers. ODB said she has been a TNA Knockout throughout her wrestling run, rather than moving between multiple major promotions.

At Rebellion, ODB competed in the Hardcore Country six-woman tag and teamed with Mickie James and Taryn Terrell in a loss to The Elegance Brand of Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance.

Quote from ODB

"It would be cool, and that’s something I’ve brought up, and I’m gonna keep bringing it up. Hey, just one appearance or something. Even if it’s NXT or just something. I mean, come on.

I’m pretty much probably one of the only wrestlers that’s only been in TNA. You don’t really hear that a lot. A lot of people did TNA then did WWE, or WWE then TNA and AEW, and I’ve just been a TNA Knockout. I’ve never been anywhere else."

What ODB's comments could mean for TNA and WWE

ODB tying her request directly to the TNA-WWE relationship matters because it shows she sees the current partnership as a real opening, not just a fantasy booking idea. With her Hall of Fame induction now set for Bound For Glory weekend, even a brief appearance on WWE or NXT television would give that milestone extra visibility and add another layer to her legacy as a longtime TNA name.

Her comments also fit a broader stretch of cross-promotional movement across wrestling, even outside talent appearances, as seen in other recent partnership news. In ODB's case, though, nothing has been announced, so for now the story is simply that she is still pushing for the chance.
