Summary

WWE has added a Roman Reigns acknowledgment ceremony to the May 11 episode of Raw, with Jacob Fatu set to be part of the segment.

The announcement follows Reigns' World Heavyweight Championship win over Fatu at WWE Backlash. In the build to that match, Reigns said Fatu would have to acknowledge him if he came out on top.

That ceremony now gives Raw a direct piece of fallout from Backlash, only a week after Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu signed their contract for the match.

WWE Raw lineup for May 11

Along with the Reigns and Fatu segment, the current lineup for Monday's show includes Oba Femi continuing his open challenge.

Raw will also feature The Street Profits teaming with Joe Hendry against The Vision, the trio of Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory.

In the women's division, Brie Bella and Paige are also scheduled to respond to The Judgment Day.

What the Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu segment could mean

Roman Reigns bringing Jacob Fatu into an acknowledgment ceremony suggests WWE is not done with the fallout from Backlash, even with the title match itself now settled. If Fatu refuses to fall in line, the story can keep moving immediately instead of cooling off after the premium live event.

It also gives Raw a clear centerpiece segment built around the World Heavyweight Champion, which matters on a card that is otherwise heavy on follow-up angles and multi-person action.
