Summary
Roman Reigns is now scheduled for WWE Clash in Italy on May 31 in Turin as part of the company's newly announced May appearances for the World Heavyweight Champion.
The updated schedule also lists Reigns for WWE Backlash on May 9 in Tampa, followed by Raw appearances on May 11 in Knoxville, May 18 in Greensboro, and May 25 in Columbus. That keeps him visible throughout the month as WWE continues building around one of its top stars.
Roman Reigns' May WWE schedule
The biggest addition on the list is Clash in Italy, which gives the Turin event a major headliner presence even before WWE has fully clarified what Reigns' role on the show will be.
Reigns is also heading into Backlash with a World Heavyweight Title defense against Jacob Fatu already set. That match has been a central part of WWE television lately, and Fatu recently sent another warning before the showdown.
The new May schedule follows an earlier round of advertising that had Reigns listed for several June events before those dates were removed. Those changes were later attributed to what was described as a clerical error.
What Roman Reigns' Clash in Italy appearance means
Roman Reigns being attached to Clash in Italy gives WWE another major attraction for the Turin card, especially with Backlash arriving earlier in the month. If Reigns is still champion after facing Jacob Fatu, WWE would head into that international event with one of its biggest title acts already tied to the show.
Even without a match announcement yet, the schedule tells fans that Reigns remains part of WWE's plans through the end of May instead of disappearing from the calendar after Backlash.
