Summary
Seth Rollins is scheduled to open the April 6 episode of WWE Raw.
That announcement follows Monday's update that Rollins had been cleared for competition after suffering a rotator cuff injury at WWE Crown Jewel 2025. After Rollins struck Paul Heyman with a chair, Gunther attacked him, choked him out, and then pointed to the WrestleMania sign to set up their WrestleMania 42 match.
The latest Raw lineup also includes CM Punk speaking on the show, along with appearances by Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar.
Raw lineup for April 6
WWE has advertised the following for Monday's show:
- CM Punk to speak
- Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar to appear
- Seth Rollins to open the show
What Seth Rollins opening Raw means for WrestleMania 42
Rollins opening Raw puts WWE's spotlight directly on the Gunther program at the start of the show, which is usually a sign the feud is a priority heading into WrestleMania. It also keeps the focus on a match that already looked important after the updated WrestleMania 42 plan for Rollins and Gunther came into view.
With CM Punk also booked for the same episode, Raw now has several major names attached before WrestleMania 42, but Rollins getting the opening segment gives his issue with Gunther the first major beat of the night.
