Summary

Shotzi still has not gotten the casket match she has been pushing for, but that has not stopped her from planning ahead.

During a recent interview, Shotzi said she spent months trying to get that stipulation approved last October and came away frustrated when it never happened. She also made it clear she has one promotion in mind if the match finally does happen, saying she wants it to take place in MLW and be built around her.

Quote from Shotzi

Speaking about her stalled pitch for the match, Shotzi said:

"Update on that, no one gave me a frickin casket. What the heck. I was pitching every place in October to give me casket. Nobody gave me a casket. I'm so pissed. I feel like MLW has to be the one. October. We're getting a casket at MLW. For Shotzi. Nobody else. No one else is allowed a casket."

She then revealed she already has the prop ready to go:

"I will. I have one! I found one on Facebook Marketplace. It's a great casket. I'm ready to go. It was like $300."

Asked whether it had already been used, Shotzi said:

"Maybe [laughs]. It's definitely used. By a living or dead person, I'm not sure."

What Shotzi's MLW Idea Sets Up

Shotzi naming MLW and October gives this more shape than a throwaway interview line. If the match is booked there, it would give her a signature stipulation match to center a fall program around, and it would immediately stand out because she has been publicly campaigning for it for months.

It also tells fans exactly how Shotzi sees the concept, not as a one-off joke, but as a match idea she still wants a promotion to commit to.
