Summary
Steph De Lander reflected on her WWE NXT run and said her favorite memory was the Triple Threat tag team ladder match at Halloween Havoc 2021. She recalled teaming with Indi Hartwell against the teams of IYO SKY and Zoey Stark, and Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.
De Lander said the bout felt like a major career milestone because ladder matches are not guaranteed opportunities, especially that early into a televised run. Her comments arrive as she continues building momentum outside WWE, including a previously announced return to the ring in an ACW women's title triple threat.
Quote from Steph De Lander
Speaking in an interview with Scott's Scoop, De Lander said:
"I would say my ladder match, the ladder match at Halloween Havoc was probably one of my favorite moments. It was me and Indi versus IYO and Zoey Stark versus Toxic Attraction. So Gigi and Jacy, and yeah, it was just- it was a really cool moment. I mean, it’s one of those things you don’t really think about, but like a lot of wrestlers go their entire careers without ever getting to do a ladder match, and especially on Halloween Havoc at NXT, you know what I mean? So that was like a really cool bucket list moment that I wasn’t expecting. That was like my third match on TV. So yeah, that was, that was pretty cool. I would say that’s probably my favorite moment from my NXT time."
Steph De Lander and the lasting weight of Halloween Havoc
By pointing to that 2021 ladder match as her top NXT memory, Steph De Lander underscored how quickly high-stakes opportunities can define a wrestler's profile. Being in that match so early in her TV run gave her a benchmark moment that still frames how she talks about her growth.
The immediate takeaway is straightforward, De Lander still views big stipulation environments as career-shaping checkpoints, and that mindset fits the way she has continued pursuing high-visibility matches since leaving WWE.
