Summary

The cast of *Street Fighter* made an appearance at WWE World on April 16, giving WrestleMania week another crossover moment involving two of WWE's biggest stars. Cody Rhodes promoted his role as Guile by wearing the character's signature wig, while Roman Reigns, who is playing Akuma in the film, appeared out of character.

The stop came the same day the first *Street Fighter* trailer featuring Rhodes, Reigns and Hirooki Goto was making the rounds ahead of the movie's October 16 theatrical release.

Who appeared at WWE World

The announced cast lineup for the appearance included Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Joe Anoa'i as Akuma, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Eric Andre as Don Sauvage and Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim.

The film also features Curtis Jackson as Balrog, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Alexander Volkanovski as Joe, Kyle Mooney as Marvin and Mel Jarnson as Cammy.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns give WWE World a mainstream crossover boost

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns appearing at WWE World gives WWE another high-visibility tie-in during its biggest week of the year, and it keeps the movie connected to an audience that already knows both men as top stars first. With Rhodes visibly leaning into the Guile presentation and Reigns attached to Akuma, the promotional push is clearly aimed at turning wrestling interest into added attention for the film before its October release.
