Summary
WWE NXT will be available for next-day streaming on The Roku Channel beginning in fall 2026 as part of a new partnership between The CW Network and Roku.
According to the announcement, new episodes of NXT will stream every Wednesday after the show's live Tuesday night broadcast on The CW. The wider agreement also creates a CW-branded hub on The Roku Channel and will add more than 800 hours of library programming.
NXT currently airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
The CW And Roku Deal Adds Another Home For NXT
The new arrangement gives NXT another way to reach viewers beyond its weekly live TV slot. Roku said the partnership will bring CW entertainment programming to more than half of U.S. broadband households, with NXT included in that rollout.
For NXT, that means fans who miss the live broadcast will have a new official next-day option once the deal starts in the fall. The announcement also noted that viewers can continue watching through the CW App.
Quotes
Quote from Brad Schwartz
"Partnering with Roku supercharges the reach and accessibility of The CW's premium entertainment content. By combining The Roku Channel's expansive audience with The CW's nationwide linear footprint, we're bringing together the best of broadcast with the best of streaming to unlock unprecedented scale for our content, our audience, and our advertisers."
Quote from Lisa Holme
"The CW's lineup is packed with bold, binge-worthy programming, from the intrigue of 'Sherlock & Daughter' to the competition of 'WWE NXT' to the long-running magic series 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us.' Starting this fall, Roku viewers will be able to stream it the very next day, along with hundreds of hours of library seasons to catch up on. This partnership is all about connecting great storytelling with the millions of viewers who are looking for it."
What The Roku Channel Means For WWE NXT
WWE NXT gaining a next-day home on The Roku Channel gives the brand a broader post-broadcast footprint at a time when The CW continues to deepen its relationship with WWE programming. That should make it easier for casual viewers to keep up with the weekly show, especially once the fall rollout begins.
It also gives NXT another layer of visibility on a major streaming platform without changing its live Tuesday night home on The CW.
