Summary

WWE and The CW announced that NXT premium live events will air exclusively on the network beginning later this summer.

The change starts with The Great American Bash and covers 20 NXT premium live events over the next several years. The announcement specifically named Stand & Deliver, Deadline and Vengeance Day among the events included in the deal.

That gives The CW the full NXT package, with the weekly Tuesday night series already airing live on the network and the brand's premium live events now moving there as well. WWE will continue producing the events.

What The CW deal means for NXT

With NXT premium live events joining the Tuesday show on the same network, WWE now has a single broadcast home for the brand's major weekly episodes and its biggest special events. That creates a more direct path for viewers following stories from television to the larger cards.

It also puts extra weight on NXT's major event calendar. Stand & Deliver, The Great American Bash, Deadline and Vengeance Day are now part of a broader broadcast push, which could further raise the brand's profile as WWE continues treating NXT as both a developmental system and a featured national TV product.
