Summary
WWE's planned NXT live television event at Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts on June 9 has been canceled. Fans who purchased tickets are being told refunds will be sent automatically to the original method of payment, with processing expected to take 14 to 21 days.
The venue's event page is also no longer live. Visitors attempting to open it are now met with a generic message saying the page cannot be found.
Quote from Lowell Memorial Auditorium notice
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, WWE Presents NXT Live on the CW at Lowell Memorial Auditorium originally scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, has been cancelled."
Lowell Memorial Auditorium also told ticketholders:
"No additional action is required to obtain a refund for your ticket. It will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase. Please allow 14-21 days for processing to complete."
What The Lowell Cancellation Means For NXT
If WWE still intends to run NXT television on June 9, the most obvious fallback is the Performance Center in Orlando. That has been the solution in previous instances when the brand has had to pull TV events from the road, so this cancellation could simply shift the show back to its usual home rather than remove it from the schedule.
For fans in Lowell, though, the immediate effect is straightforward: the advertised NXT stop is off, and the local market loses a scheduled television event unless WWE later announces a replacement date.
