Summary
Current plans for WWE WrestleMania 42 reportedly have Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and IShowSpeed facing The Usos and LA Knight in the opening match of night one on April 18. Night two on April 19 is currently expected to start with Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar.
The same report stressed that both lineups remain subject to change.
How the reported lineup shapes WrestleMania 42
If those plans hold, WWE would be using two very different kinds of attractions to start the weekend. The six-man tag would give night one an immediate celebrity-heavy hook, which fits the larger WrestleMania 42 atmosphere and the kind of crossover attention already surrounding talks for Lil Yachty to appear on WWE SmackDown during WrestleMania week.
Night two opening with Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar would also put one of WWE's rising power names opposite one of its biggest mainstream draws right away. The report added that ESPN wanted Lesnar included in the package of matches highlighted during the first hour, something WWE was reportedly happy to accommodate.
