Summary

AEW has added several matches and segments to Thursday's Spring BreakThru edition of Collision, headlined by Jon Moxley facing Nick Wayne in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match.

Wayne does not put the title at stake in the bout, but a win over Moxley would earn him a future shot at the championship. The updated lineup also includes Thekla defending the AEW Women's World Championship against Alex Windsor, plus Young Bucks taking on The Rascalz, made up of Myron Reed and Zachary Wentz.

Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander are also scheduled for tag team action, while Adam Copeland is set to address the audience a few days after his loss to FTR at Dynasty.

The Spring BreakThru week lineup has been filling out quickly, with MJF vs. Darby Allin and Kevin Knight vs. Claudio Castagnoli already announced for Dynamite.

Updated AEW Collision Spring BreakThru lineup

The advertised card for Thursday's show currently includes:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Nick Wayne in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match
  • The Young Bucks vs. The Rascalz (Myron Reed and Zachary Wentz)
  • Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander in tag team action
  • Adam Copeland speaking live
  • Thekla vs. Alex Windsor for the AEW Women's World Championship

What Moxley and Wayne put in play on Collision

Moxley vs. Wayne gives AEW a clear next-step hook for the Continental title picture, because a Wayne upset would immediately create a championship match out of a show-announcement bout.

The added Women's World Championship defense also gives Spring BreakThru another title match on a card that is being positioned as more than a standard weekly Collision episode.
