Summary

AEW has added several matches to the April 25 edition of Collision: Playoff Palooza, with the AEW World Trios Championships set to headline the announcements.

The Conglomeration, represented by Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Orange Cassidy, will defend the belts against Andrade El Idolo, Lance Archer, and Hechicero of the Don Callis Family.

Elsewhere on the card, Chris Jericho will team with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate against Ricochet and GOA. That match also follows Jericho having filed a trademark for The Demand line earlier this month.

Newly announced matches for AEW Collision

The April 25 lineup also includes Jack Perry defending the AEW National Championship against El Clon.

A 10-man tag team match has also been set, with The Young Bucks teaming with The Rascalz, Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Dezmond Xavier, against The Dogs, David Finlay and Clark Connors, and Death Riders members Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli.

In addition, Kris Statlander is scheduled for singles action, Persephone and Alex Windsor will face Thekla and Skye Blue in tag team competition, and RUSH is set to wrestle Adam Priest.

What the Trios title match means for The Conglomeration and the Don Callis Family

The Conglomeration getting a title defense on Collision gives AEW's trios division a clear featured match on the show, and it puts Andrade, Archer, and Hechicero in a spot where a win would immediately reshape that title picture.

Jericho teaming with Lashley and Benjamin also gives another spotlight match to a group of names AEW has kept prominent on television, so this card is built around several acts who could factor heavily into the next stretch of weekly programming.
