Summary

Rhea Ripley picked up a singles win over Michin on WWE SmackDown, but the bigger development came after the bell when IYO SKY stepped in to back her up.

Ripley was attacked following the match by Michin and B-Fab, with Jade Cargill also joining the scene. The numbers left Ripley in trouble until SKY ran in to make the save. Ripley and SKY then cleared out Michin and B-Fab, sending them back up the ramp as Cargill stood waiting.

Backstage, Ripley said Jade may have followers, but she has friends. Ripley and SKY also made it clear they still have each other's backs.

RHIYO Are Back In The Mix Around Jade Cargill

Ripley and SKY being back on the same side gives Ripley immediate backup against the group that swarmed her after the match. On a SmackDown roster where numbers often decide how these confrontations play out, that changes the balance around Jade Cargill in a hurry.

It also puts the old RHIYO pairing back into the conversation after the two former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions had gone their separate ways when Ripley won the women's Elimination Chamber and secured her WrestleMania 42 title shot.
